Everybody has an opinion. Too many times we are told every opinion is valid. But not all opinions are right. Someone may have an opinion that the sky is blue. Someone else will say that the sky is red. Are both wrong or both could be right at different times?  The difference between having an opinion and believing you're right is that you believe that your opinions are facts. Facts that are correct all the time. Even correct facts are not correct all the time. Take the sky example again. It's not always blue because sometimes you can get red. If you believe that the sky is always blue, what would you say when you see the sky is red at sunrise or sunset? Would you still claim that the sky is blue even though it's red? And how about if you learn that the sky isn't really blue because it's really the effect of gas particles in the atmosphere that's making it look blue?  Will you still claim you are right or will you learn something new?

There's a lot to talk about in dealing with history. Some desire to remember, others desire to forget. It's not just the two sides of that desire but what it leads to. Some desire to remember to just fan the flames of long ago. Others desire to remember to learn and teach future generations of the mistakes of the past. Some desire to forget to claim innocence when the past is repeated. Some desire to forget to erase the pain of the past and move past with hope for the future.

 It can be hard to justify sacrifice when tomorrow is so uncertain. Sacrifice implies that we give up something today for something tomorrow. The more sacrifice we commit today implies that what's tomorrow is really valuable.  This means that sacrifice requires some form of faith and a lot of Hope. it's paradoxical but sacrifice can be easier if it's not tied in to something specific in the future. It's easier to focus on sacrifice itself or sacrifice for sacrifice's sake, then to be always calculating for something in the future. That is Faith  And when the reward comes, it will be much sweeter.

Seriously, if you're honest with yourself, you'd see that you were just being a dick. That's why living your best life needs you to be the best you.

This was inspired by a YouTube short that showed a kind skier helping a boy who was walking down the mountain after his friends left him because he could not snowboard down the mountain. He spent some time with the boy showing him the basics of snowboarding until he could do it for short distances. He didn't know the boy but he knew how he felt. his act of kindness, probably left a good memory for the boy

Our achievement is their rewards. Or What we achieve by doing more with less is the rewards our leaders reap from us.

Faith in your ability. Faith in yourself. Faith in the cosmos. Faith in luck. Faith in the Almighty. Have one.

If the point of a company is to make money, then satisfied paying customers is an important part. It is when companies make money without customers is when the company is not responsible to anyone else and seemingly do not care about everybody else

You can meander down the path of uncertainty or run through the tall forest, taking turns at every whim. Or you can plant your food one in front of the other in a direction you choose. Both will lead you somewhere. One will lead you somewhere you want to be 

Even amongst all the other ideas that are better and more acceptable

When people ask me how do I start solving problems, my answer is make a plan. The plan may not work, it may not be affordable, and it may not be doable immediately. But make a plan. Change the plan and make a better one. Make a plan that you can start working on on. Find the people around you to help. Accept help.  Eventually, you will succeed. The problem will go away. Celebrate the success with the people that helped you get there. And then prepare for the next problem.

Certainty of life. Expecting the worst means preparing for it. Don't worry about it. Do something. Doing something will keep your mind off the worse.
